Sunday in human form.
The Family Man Season 3 was underwhelming. The writing is uninspiring. The screenplay seemed cluttered. Only redeeming aspect of the season being Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur as baddies. They kick ass and how.

Nishaanchi is Anurag Kashyap on song. Watched Part II on Prime Video. The film deserves to be seen on the big screen. It serves revenge cold and how. Monika Panwar is outstanding. An actor at the very top of her game. Kashyap creates some of the most interesting characters. Impressive work.

Watched Predator (1987) for the first time. Solid alien invasion actioner that holds up even today. The practical effects are stunning. Some insane action set pieces. Great background score by Alan Silvestri. Fully jacked Arnold at his charming best. A John McTiernan classic.

Maharani 4 is low on political drama and high on family drama. The Rani Bharti saga of establishing stronghold on Bihar while having national aspirations takes a personal turn when she tries to assert her family on the political power seats. Huma Qureshi is astute as always. The new cast is solid.

Haq is a measured take on the Shah Bano case culminating into a landmark judgement. Suparn Varma weaves a soulful narrative of Bano and her fight for her right to dignity and rightful financial support from her estranged husband. Yami Gautam is outstanding as Shazia Bano. Emraan Hashmi is too good.

Manchester United record just their second Premier League win against Liverpool in 15 matches.

Harry Maguire is the hero.

Ruben Amorim's side now sit just two points behind Arne Slot's team in the table, who suffered their first defeat at home in the league since Nottingham Forest last year.

One Battle After Another is a punch in the gut from Paul Thomas Anderson. He’s at the top of his game. He has his audience on a chokehold throughout the film. Spectacular storytelling. Incredible performances by a remarkable cast. Leo is on a mad acting streak. Sean Penn’s scary.
