Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino recently admitted to lying during his time as a political pundit. Last week, David A. Graham considered media personalities turned administrators and their complex relationship with the truth:
Dan Bongino Admits to Lying During His Pundit Days
Before he joined the FBI, Bongino spread bogus claims about the January 6 pipe bomber—and now says he did it because he was getting paid.

You're walking home from the gym when you're stopped by FBI officers in an unmarked car. They handcuff you, even though you tell them you're a US citizen.

Then, they scan your face.

23-year-old Jesus Gutiérrez recounts his experience to @revealnews.org and 404 Media:
How a US Citizen Was Scanned With ICE's Facial Recognition Tech
Jesus Gutiérrez told immigration agents he was a U.S. citizen. Only after they scanned his face, did the agents let him go.

ICE PEPPER SPRAYED A ONE-YEAR-OLD because her mother was filming them.
ICE pepper-sprayed this 1-year-old girl.

Once at the hospital, the doctor had to call in a poison control specialist.

They had never seen anyone that young pepper sprayed.

Another horrific story.

Keep this in mind as the Hegseth Signal call gets back in the news.
The material need NOT be “classified” for criminal liability to attach (but hard legal standard to meet - “gross negligence”)

Further investigation to see, among other things, if this method had been used before is necessary

And the likelihood that this material is, in fact, classified is great
‘It is highly classified’: Hegseth leaked sensitive attack details, former officials say
Hegseth and the White House have denied sharing classified information or war plans.
