Why people are still using Zoom’s AI that they can then sell to data vendors, is totally beyond me. Do people STILL not read the Terms of Service for these things???

If you have to use Zoom - seriously DO NOT use their AI …
Incredible new privacy risk: Redditor recounts doing a job interview over Zoom with an AI notetaker on the call (Fathom). After the applicant left the call, the interviewers stayed on to discuss/bash her. She then got their post-call remarks in the AI summary. www.reddit.com/r/interviews...
I was accidentally sent the interviewers’ feedback of me after I logged off our Zoom call!

1/7 This is Showrunner AI, a startup that just a few weeks ago got Amazon funding to become the “Netflix of AI” as reported by Forbes, Business Insider, NBC News and so on.

Frustratingly, no news outlets asked or researched the data used by Showrunner. Well after some digging here’s it is👇
The Showrunner AI people say it's NOT just a tool, it's a competitor, and that pencils don't stand up and write by themselves.

This is what artists have been saying, but used as pro-AI marketing. It's the quiet part out loud, and quite frankly, probably good evidence in court.

That's right, singers! The Network Television Code has increased payments for singers that multi-track or sweeten three times or more in a session. Now you just need to VOTE to lock in this gain! Get more info at sagaftra.org/netcode2025.

Attention Artists - if you have the ability to put a robots.txt block on your website - you absolutely should!

More people need to do this, but unfortunately not everyone has the ability to do it. Here’s an excellent study from UCSD (it’s a very quick, MUST READ) !!!
A lot of my friends are visual artists and they're struggling/are concerned about protecting their work from #genAI.
This is a good overview of the things they can/cannot do in this area.

In 2009, Peter Thiel wrote that the 1920s were "the last decade in American history during which one could be genuinely optimistic about politics."

Why? Because of "the vast increase in welfare beneficiaries and the extension of the franchise to women."

I approve of this pro-worker, pro-property rights, pro-identity rights, pro-privacy stance - Democrats are the party of the people! So - Let’s stand with them! Tech is passe, the future is human!
I am Neil Turkewitz, and I approve this message.

Once again, any future for the Democratic Party simply cannot involve anyone who is deeply in hock to/bed with AI and crypto:
