Makes sense! The entire framework of Intuitive Eating requires so much nuance. I’m curious about other factors during those times, heightened stress? Less fiber? Less protein? Hydration changes? Etc. so often, so many factors are at play when things snowball 🫶🏼

This is a great reminder because I know that so many people tend to skip meals, or they feel guilty for fueling their body with food. The thing is, our bodies need food to function! Skipping meals is not for sustainable for losing weight. Treat yourself, and stay healthy! @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
Food = fuel AND joy (+ culture, experience, love, etc.). You’re allowed to eat without guilt. No burpees required.

There’s a difference in choosing foods that make you feel physically better versus following rules because you “should”.

If you’ve ever thought, “I can’t eat this, I didn’t work out today,” that’s diet culture talking.

PSA: You don’t have to earn your food. It’s not a reward for being “good” or punishment for being “bad.”

I’m vocal on other platforms, but just want to make it abundantly clear here that I am very concerned over the fear mongering and misinformation RFK is spreading about nutrition and health. Also, “clean” eating rhetoric is a pipeline to far right. Good intentions, harmful execution. #foodscience

Ultimately, this is in alignment with positive support in overall health if someone is wanting to focus on that. #weightneutraldietitian #intuitiveeating #sportsdietitian

It's a way to move away from toxic dieting behaviors and toward long-term health, where your relationship with food is healthy - supportive of physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.

Instead of focusing on weight, it emphasizes sustainable habits that nourish your body and mind. This approach encourages paying attention to how different foods support your energy, focus, and overall wellness-without strict rules or guilt.

I wanna talk about what weight-neutral nutrition is because there is still so much confusion and concerning takes on it from non-practitioners. Weight-neutral nutrition is about prioritizing health and well-being over the number on the scale.

BODi’s (formerly BeachBody) shift from MLM to single-level affiliate and the mass exodus of distributors to other MLMs reveal it wasn’t about the products—it was about building a downline for profit. But we knew that already. #antiMLM
