I have a very strange relationship with people who speculate that public figures are high during appearances because as someone who barely even drinks and Is Just Like This, many people want to believe I'm not sober because the alternative, that I'm just like this, is worse for them somehow.

Added more ways to increase your dice or gain a re-roll in Gate Unbidden. Casual reminder to my fellow Tabletop RPG designers as it's something I'm constantly re-learning: keep a changelog! SweetSoulBro showed me the wisdom of this with Ops & Tactics forever ago.

I think giving any amount of feedback to players about what they should(n't) have done is probably the little death that brings obliteration. And not in the sense of "la petite mort," like Dune and fear.

I have an old apple airport that took a bad fall late last year; only 2/3rds of its ethernet ports for local routing work anymore, and that's precisely one less working port than I needed. I have 850.4mbps/down, 80/up; what multi-port is good?

Every stride ive made in TTRPG creation lately has been met with a lot of "i dont want to play a board game in my ttrpg!" but what does that mean? no dice, no grid? Everyone wants depth and complexity while also being simple, with little book-keeping, cinematic, but bare bones..? makes no sense..

The weird insistence on an international plot with only American voices + sayings combined with the occasional Londoner for accent is so weird in nu Hitman. Like surely there are voice actors in *checks notes* Japan?

Maybe I've been watching too much Warlockracy, but I always think about how when someone calls you comrade in Russian prison and you don't fw them like that you say "I'm picking out the wall I'll shoot you against."

I think the bird site is cooked enough I may shutter my accounts there completely. Most of the replies to anti-"Grok making child porn and undressing women without consent" posts are sea lions with hundreds of likes buoying them.

The Nu Hitman 1 level on the Colorado insurgent farm reminds me of Absolution in all the wrong ways; the bad parts of that game are back and we have four fucking targets to slog through? Give me a break dawg. Momentum killer.

I think a hard truth we may need to accept in 2026 is that no children's author is beloved enough to open the door to real socio-political influence to, no matter how much money they have or how many people podcast about how their works mean everything to them. Needs to be made unthinkable.
