I guess what I keep coming back to is just. Combat Evolved still exists. You can play it right now. What's the point of re-making a game in the modern day if not to make it. Modern?

With any luck I'll be going into Computer Science at College this winter.
If all goes well, my game development capabilites will be much better off than right now.
Currently still trying to work on it, but perhaps I will even be able to call myself an honest to god Game Developer!

I think smart phones + the general boom of "smart" technology is just. Diminishing returns at this point.
Between Ghost's policy with the new shows and Eddy Burback's recent video, it's feeling like a good idea to disconnect more.
