I joined Twitter in 2010, in my 1st year of grad school. I found a thriving ecosystem of theology nerds, niche political analysis, and strangely immediate means of communicating with writers and thinkers that I loved.

One year ago today: married the smartest, kindest, most beautiful person I'd ever met. We're spending our anniversary in a way neither of us ever wanted or could anticipate. But cancer doesn't get the last word.

It's a wrap. So many life-giving conversations with new and old friends on Christian formation, justice, and not gaining the whole world only to lose your soul. Thanks to @james_ka_smith, @bethallisonbarr, @MalcolmBFoley, @catjonathantran, @EricSeanGregory, and @HootenWilson

RIP Robert Adams (1937-2024), whose work I wrestled with--without much success on my part--throughout grad school. One of the great Christian philosophers of his generation. https://leiterreports.typepad.com/blog/2024/04/in-memoriam-robert-m-adams-1937-2024.html
