'Good King Wenceslas' doesn't mention the Nativity, odd for a Christmas song, but 'on the Feast of Stephen' refers to 26 December, St Stephen's Day, the Second Day of Christmas.

_In The Dream House_, by Carmen Maria Machado. Unlike anything else I've ever read. It tells a story in the form of a hundred short stories, each from a different genre. A reality that looks different from each side, even as they all show the same fundamental truth. I completely recommend it.

I am so glad somebody in Congress finally said this. Dr Oz, RFKjr, Hegseth, Pirro, they're all jokes. They should never have been nominated, and never have been confirmed. The GOP-run senate rubber-stamped them because they don't care what happens to the country or its citizens.
