Weird fun fact: on the TV show _Crazy Ex-Girlfriend_, she goes on the apps and meets a guy named Jason.

(I really liked CXGF; it's on my short list of favorite TV shows of all time.)

Because the cruelty is the point. What POTUS and those like him enjoy best is making others suffer for no reason other than because they can.

It seems overly optimistic to think the Epstein files will make any difference to MAGA supporters. (Have they ever cared about anything he did?) They'll either believe it's all lies, or that those children were willing participants, or that Dear Leader should be allowed to do anything he wants.

She knew he was a snake when she picked him up. She just thought all his hate was only going to affect people she didn't like, so she didn't care.

I'm most interested in this: five years from now, when a lot of former Trump supporters wake up to the terrible damage he's done, I want them to give a thoughtful assessment of how they were so misled, and I want that to be added to the public discourse, so this doesn't happen again.

I try to make them in the morning, but not too early, so I can get it over with and then the rest of the day I don't have to be like Damocles.

Some things work a little; magnesium glycinate seems to help, melatonin before bed, the best single thing seems to be a solid workout, which at least keeps me in decent shape. When it's hopeless I watch documentaries. Either I sleep, or I learn something, either one counts as a bit of win.
