Looks like the EEA is crumbling in favour of full EU membership. Add to that the recent moves by Switzerland to tighten its own relationship, and the packed pipeline of new EU membership applications.

This is fine I guess, the site has to be funded in some way. I just worry that it may be difficult to remain a neutral* platform if revenue depends of the whims of any particular group.

Bluesky will be launching a subscription service by the end of the year. There are no details yet on how many tiers. Premium tiers will likely include higher-resolution pics, more/longer video uploads, and profile/page customization aesthetics. Longer term, there's a monetization plan for creators.
