Substantially out of curiosity I am listening to the Taylor Swift album "Evermore" now. I will soon provide a definitive assessment, one that will surely carry grave implications

Premade cheese and green chili tamales from Costco - they've done it again folks. No one is killing it more in the "cost effective tasty work lunch for lazy people" game

BREAKING: Starbucks workers have launched a massive, nationwide strike.

Baristas in 40 cities have walked off the job on the busiest day of Starbucks' year.

Upwards of 12,000 @sbworkersunited.org members could ultimately go on strike as the union escalates.

There it is. Congrats and RIP Bozo
Wilson took a 1,976-vote lead over Bruce Harrell. With a maximum of 1,320 ballots remaining, it is mathematically impossible for Harrell to catch up.

It feels like such a cliche to call cyberpunk works "prescient" but Psycho Pass, especially S1 and the movie, are so rich and feel more and more vindicated all the time, in addition to being great, atmospheric anime

The way cultural assimilation works in EU5 still feels comically gaming and nonsensical, I gotta say. Non-accepted minorities still basically disappear trivially and very rapidly without any active effort in a way that does not make sense

EU5 immediately going to into the Black Death is kind of ingenious because seeing how a bunch of stuff breaks when you lose half your pops is almost like an emergent tutorial in how stuff fits together

Step one for Zohran establishing the New York Serenissima after building a social democratic Republic is to expand the Stato Da Tera in the local hinterlands. Later it will establish Emporia abroad to establish its Stato Da Már

The number of curable ballots from Seattle has edged downward a little since midday yesterday. There's now just over 1,700 curable ballots, which still skew younger.

There is no actual functional difference between an electorally successful "Third Party" and the Democratic Party, in that actual membership-based ideologically-disciplined political parties are not actually legal under US law, so we're just talking about ballot lines and electoral coalitions.
“Rather than taking over the Democratic Party the same way the right took over the Republican Party, we should take the easier route and just start up a new party ourselves!”

I’m about to fill my pockets with stones and walk into the sea.
