Today in 1986, Voyager 2 made humanity's first and only encounter with Uranus, revealing its clouds, rings, and fascinating zoo of moons.

It’s a complex forecast for us in E Tennessee-we’re on the edge of the snow vs. ice dividing line. I’d rather temps just drop and it would simply snow… conditions tend to stabilize then.

One of the craziest things last night is that we had TWO back-to-back substorms. I haven't seen this too often. Usually, there is a reset period of 1-2 hours between expansion phases, but last night a new growth phase replaced the expansion after the first substorm.
