Superman Raisins (1982-1986): Snack-sized boxes of raisins, bearing the image and likeness of the Man of Steel, who could be seen on every box dumping a presumably gargantuan barrel of football-sized raisins onto a seemingly endless raisin horde, located in an empty, peach-colored void

I’m just gonna chronicle the dated references in THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME as they come. Star Wars crawl gag, a kid would know what that was but it’s only really there because Phantom Menace was in theaters at the time so I’m gonna mention it here

I’m fine with Marvel slop and will show up to the trough whenever they shovel more in. But I kind of get what people are feeling when I see how many tv show rewatch podcasts there are out there. Way too many to even consider.

I’ve seen “the Maclunkey cut” of STAR WARS (1977) in theaters twice now. They really should keep it in the cut they release for the 50th next year. It deserves an audience.

If I had any pull at Warner Bros, I would have them making more Looney Tunes shorts that are parodies of famous Warner Bros movies. I can’t think of two better stars to remake HEAT in 7 minutes.

"All is lost" narratives are popular because people generally do not want to take action. Taking action is tiring so if all is lost, you are off the hook. Nothing is more seductive than not having to do anything.
