Final votes are 15 commissioners in favor of the trail closure, 2 opposed, and 1 abstaining. A minimum of 14 votes was needed to pass this, so sadly it means the motion is approved and the bridge trail will be closed 4 days a week for 3 years starting possibly this October.

Removing an entire segment of your population by force based on arbitrary ethic lines is textbook ethnic cleansing. This is literally exactly what’s happened in Myanmar. The government has used armed forces to violently drive out the Rohingya, forcing them to flee to other countries.
