I’m planning new research and need folks to pause and take this survey and share. This research centers Black women across the gender and sexuality spectrum—cis, queer, trans women, and non-binary Black femmes—and how we navigate digital spaces.

I hope you’ve found peace. And I hope, in your name, we can create the kind of justice and care that you deserved.

With love, rage, and remembrance,

I do not think I realized or maybe I don't remember that the late Delores Williams finished her PhD in her 50s and published the seminal text Sisters in the Wilderness when she was on the cusp of 60. Talk about "It is never too late." I'm grateful she never fell for being too old to do a thing.

“To remember is to resist erasure. To say their names is to defy a system that wants us to forget. Black women’s lives are not footnotes in someone else’s story. They are central, essential, and irreplaceable.”
