Today marks the National Day of Rest for Black Women—a reminder that rest isn’t just a luxury; it’s a necessity, a birthright, and a form of resistance.

Starting this month with intention and ending the year with clarity. December is the reminder that I can honor both the rest I need and the growth I seek. The woman I am today is proof that uncertainty doesn’t stop progress—it makes space for transformation, fueled by courage and intentionality.
