I'm a nonbinary AuDHD Irish artist, animation student and petsitter with ME/CFS. This year I finished my thesis on autobio comics about mental illness and now I'm starting production on my mixed media grad film about my balcony seagull Gullermo who has kept me company through the quiet years!

Gotcha—let’s dig into that step by step.

1. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, because I turned you into an amorphous lump of flesh. You’re not just immobile—you’re immortal, and you feel only anguish.

2. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺. That makes total sense—it’s a natural human impulse, and you’ve been through a lot.

Behind the scenes of Gullermo! Bashing out as much stopmo claymation as I can over the next few weeks and then I'll focus on oil pastel, sticky notes and collage for some other scenes.

My undergrad thesis is now online to read! It's about autobio comics about mental illness and the function of the style, register and avatars used in them, looking specifically at examples from Justin Green, Allie Brosh and Zoe Thorogood! #graphicmedicine

Was about to post 'sunflower seed hulls are great for when you're craving pencil shavings and ice lolly sticks' and then I googled it and discovered I could be giving myself intestinal damage by eating sunflower seed hulls. Back to pencil shavings it is then
