I'm a nonbinary AuDHD Irish artist, animation student and petsitter with ME/CFS. This year I finished my thesis on autobio comics about mental illness and now I'm starting production on my mixed media grad film about my balcony seagull Gullermo who has kept me company through the quiet years!

My mam loves to de-stress from her troubles by winding herself up watching the most depressing movies known to mankind. They are like catnip to her

Was about to post 'sunflower seed hulls are great for when you're craving pencil shavings and ice lolly sticks' and then I googled it and discovered I could be giving myself intestinal damage by eating sunflower seed hulls. Back to pencil shavings it is then

my statement on Ai from the mini-comic I'm making as syllabus for a new class I'm teaching this fall. It's simple, but I pretty much said all I have to say on it - it robs you of decisions and struggle - and the joy of being surprised. It robs you of learning...

Listen I don't want to talk about it but I think Mike Wozniak in Taskmaster is giving me gender envy. I just think my general demeanour would make more sense if I looked like a milk drinking manfailure

Sorry but personally if a miniature horse woke me up from anesthesia by banging out nonsense on a miniature keyboard it would send me into a liminal space between life and death from which I would never return

The link between gut health and mood disorders needs to be studied and treated better because I truly lose the entire will to live every time tummy hurts a bit too much for a bit too long

I lose more faith in the public every time I go to the apartment bin room and see people's complete laziness and inability to follow basic waste sorting instructions. I wash and dry and separate my recyclables only for someone to throw their chicken tikka masala over it for god knows what reason

One chronic illness perk is that I'm now able to swallow an insane amount of pills at once. I used to choke on half a panadol as a kid and I just threw down 10+ pills, an entire mouthful of pharmaceuticals, big gulp of water no praaawblem

Forgot to show u how good I looked at a queer wedding where I felt safe drawing on one of my lil pencil mustaches. The mustache gives me endless power and reliably makes people stop ma'aming me

Speaking of loving SFX and prosthesis, I made myself some mask decorations out of liquid latex, loo roll, fake nails and toothpicks to celebrate the launch of @griffski.bsky.social's excellent book Eat The Ones You Love, out now in all good bookshops 👁️🌱

I think the thing I like most about Dropout is the 'DVD extras' vibe it brings that has been lost to this streaming era. I generally don't find Very Important People funny (love Vic Michaelis tho) but I LIVE for the behind the scenes videos where the SFX artists talk through their process.

A demented thing that has been happening in my brain the last few days is the Too Many Cooks jingle but the lyrics are the entirety of The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
