Speaking of loving SFX and prosthesis, I made myself some mask decorations out of liquid latex, loo roll, fake nails and toothpicks to celebrate the launch of @griffski.bsky.social's excellent book Eat The Ones You Love, out now in all good bookshops 👁️🌱

Was nervous to go to a family wedding for the first time since changing my name but nobody passed any heed in true Irish fashion. Some of them already knew the new name, some didn't, some ppl made an effort with the pronouns which was sweet and unexpected, no conversation was made of it. 10/10

I'm glad I've drawn good old Volvo for posterity. Although Chris is looking at the current price of cars and is now considering shelling out to resurrect Volvo instead lol. I hope he doesn't come back changed

Photoshoot with houseplants. Real houseplants are too delicate and move too erratically for stopmo but I'd love to involve them somehow. The asparagus fern would make good trees I think

Loved this! This is my gullfriend Gullermo, I think he's a lesser black backed gull and he hangs out on my balcony in spring/summer while nesting and flies away for the winter. I've always loved the mischief of gulls but Gullermo had taught me about their intelligence and complexity!

I took piano for a while as a kid but the instructor was mean to me and I kept having panic attacks at the grade exams so I stopped and taught myself dorky songs by watching YT videos of ppl playing and now this is the only thing I remember whenever I see a piano

We've been sitting together all day every day but every time I come back from the bathroom or making a cuppa the tail starts goin ninety again. Sweetie baby. I love dogs.

Bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao ciao ciao! They had Pilot V7s at the local Tesco so I decided to try them out instead of my usual Uniball Eye Fine. More precise and scratchy, less smooth and consistent imo. I'll get into fountain and dip pens eventually they just don't travel as well
