it's just fuggin annoying that people can openly call me a bitch at work and there's no negative consequences for them when I'm their supervisor so it's literally my job to make sure they're doing job but when I clap back suddenly I'm the bad guy or a "missy with an attitude"

beloved games like WaveRace64 are not that hard to make nowadays, even in a 2D engine like Construct 3.
Just some wave math, a deformable mesh, and a gradient texture. The taller mesh points get their UV from the lighter part of the texture, so it looks like the crests of the waves are lighter.

I think an easy goal for 2026 is loving more people and more things.
It won't fix anything - The Beatles were totally wrong about love being all you need and anyone who says otherwise is wrong, too. But it will, at least, make the fixing seem less daunting. And that's not nothing.
