Here’s the scoop on me: I’m a politically liberal born-again Christian who opposes Christian Nationalism and violent interpretations of Christianity.

I’m here, but I haven’t completely abandoned Twitter. I plan to be active in both spaces.

Also, I’m a HUGE Bayern Munich fan. 💥👊⚽️‼️
Resting in peace now… 🙏🙏🙏

Our high temp in Dallas today was a record high. 83-degrees.

One of our local TV anchors announced the record as if Dallas had won a medal at the Olympics. 🤦‍♂️

Practicing for tomorrow's turkey 🍗

Wolves are carnivores + with 42 teeth, just like dogs, they're more than equipped to eat whole carcass meals. Incisors and carnassials tear meat off of the bone + molars grind.

A typical meal for Silas could be a deer leg, chicken, or even a turkey!

Did I mention I’m a Bayern Munich fan?

Check out this wizardry from Harry Kane last Friday…

Anger over Smith’s dismissals of the Trump cases is understandable, but it’s the only move he had. By filing preemptively, he keeps the cases alive for 2029. My thoughts in MSNBC Daily.

This is on Greg Abbott and the Texas legislature.

They must act to fix this horrible, deadly problem they created.
NEW: Porsha Ngumezi is the fifth case we've reported on in which a woman died after not receiving a D&C or its second-trimester equivalent in time, or at all.

Her case raises questions about how abortion bans are pressuring doctors to avoid standard care even in straightforward miscarriages.

It’s so refreshing that I can follow the “Discover” feed here on bsky and not end up with Elon Musk at the top more than half the time.

Which begs the question: Who in their right mind was advocating for AI to decide?

This is “Lion” by Sir Peter Paul Rubens (c. 1612-1613). It was sketched in preparation for a painting of Daniel in the lions’ den.

I find this work comforting. A hungry lion being held at bay by a miracle of God.

The lion seems both fierce and docile. Maybe even sad.

Figured this could be a nice way to get started on @bsky.app

Take a look at our @unumkenburns.bsky.social post below and our #UNUMChats about Leonardo da Vinci.

Film airs Monday and Tuesday on PBS and will also stream on all PBS platforms.
@kenlburns.bsky.social conducted a special series of #UNUMChats exploring Leonardo da Vinci’s legacy with creative and intellectual leaders working today.

Each chat dives into Leonardo’s lasting influence across art, science, and culture—exploring what his genius means for our world now.

Yelling “Fire!” in a crowded movie theater when there is no fire is not protected free speech. Last I checked, anyway.

I don’t know if Elon Musk agrees.

This is such an obnoxious tweet from someone who claims to champion free speech. And who says he values open lines of communication among folks with different political leanings.

I think inflation (#1) & sexism (a distant but not unimportant 2nd) were the main factors helping Trump win the election.

But many progressives seem to be mocking price-of-eggs voters. This block of voters is very likely a low-information group that needs to be won back somehow.

Need solutions.
