dplyr 1.2.0 is out now and we are SO excited!

- `filter_out()` for dropping rows

- `recode_values()`, `replace_values()`, and `replace_when()` that join `case_when()` as a complete family of recoding/replacing tools

These are huge quality of life wins for #rstats!

For #tidytuesday week 3, I tried mapping the most commonly photographed astronomical objects in NASA's APOD!

I extracted the entities and then used Wikidata's SPARQL to fetch coordinates, which were mapped onto a nice basemap by NASA. Static image & more in 🧵 #rstats

To my knowledge, cbfc.watch is the first project of its kind to make updates to film censorship in a country available for subscription with an RSS feed :P

We're tracking and archiving data on India's film censor board and making it as accessible as possible.

Each point is a year from the Boeoegg festival, plotted with burn duration in minutes on the x-axis and average summer temperature in °C on the y-axis. Year labels are shown in colored rectangles: teal labels for years with average summer temperature at or below 19°C, and coral labels for years above 19°C. A dotted upward-sloping trend line indicates a slight positive relationship between longer burn times and warmer summers, but both warm (coral) and cooler (teal) years occur across short and long burn durations, visually suggesting that the Boeoegg is a noisy and unreliable predictor of summer heat.

Numbers inside the triangles indicate counts, e.g., in 1891 there were 283 Munros and 255 Munro Tops, while in 2021 there were 282 Munros and 226 Munro Tops. The chart highlights fluctuations in classifications over time.
