If this MSNBC story about courts-martial is confirmed, I'm begging people - especially writers and reporters - do not fall for the Trump line that this is about Afghanistan. This is about Trump seeking revenge on the people who woudn't him do things like shoot American protesters.

These people win, and they're still angry. Vast majority of us now make them feel ashamed for the casual cruelty they used to get away with. And they're seething that white power is no longer protecting them from that shame.
