Jessica: The WSJ is reporting that there are incentives for ICE Agents because they need to meet that insane 3,000 people per day quota—they are getting rewarded even if they bring in people who then get released…

Donald Trump goes to a fortune teller and asks how he is going to die. The fortune teller consults her crystal ball and says
"I don't see the cause, but it's certain you will die on a holiday,"
"How can you be so sure?"
Trump demands.
The teller shrugs
"Any day you die is going to be a holiday."

It's against standards held for 2 centuries by the USA
It's another #TrumpGrift
Christ, I hadn’t seen the details here but it really is trying to set up a Temu UN with Donald Trump as Secretary General for life (and his hand chosen successor as Secretary General for life after that).

Fukuyama: Countries that stood up to Trump’s threats — Brazil, India, China — have done well. They boosted domestic support, and China forced the U.S. to back down.

Trump is not the United States: most Americans are dismayed by his policies and likely to vote against him. 3/3

Correct.
Fukuyama: Trump is a bully who wants to dominate everyone around him. Trying to placate him with concessions is a fool’s errand. He despises weakness.

As an American, I say to my European friends: do not back down. Appeasing Trump with flattery has failed and must stop.

Remember that the Epstein files still haven't been released in accordance with the #Epstein Files Transparency Act. And the DOJ has now claimed that Congress has no right to appoint a Special Master to compel their release. Corrupt regime is corrupt.

Release the files

That's where Epstein's island is.

From the Immigration Court at 9th & Market to ICE’s field office, the city marched in defiance: against ICE raids, against state violence, against the killing of Renee Good in Minneapolis.
Dr. King taught us: justice requires action. Philly answered.
