Can someone please explain why the courts are apparently powerless to issue punishment/consequences when their orders are defied?
This hand-wringing is pathetic. It makes me pessimistic about the role of the judiciary in the 2026 elections when the trump thugs will be oppressing voters.

It would have had better reviews if it included tons of photos/videos of her when she was a softcore model.
Sorry for stating the obvious.

Dude, you won't have a "day in court." It will be yet another TACO moment that the thugs hope the media won't cover, the day they hear a judge dismiss the charges.
Keep going forward, my man. Give us a glimmer of hope.

Why is there no enforcement mechanism for punishing failure to provide all the files at once? Why so gleeful at these trickling redacted fragments?
January 31, 2026 at 1:43 PM
This should be repeated daily.
It sums up the sad times in which we live.

Wow, a backbone made of Silly Putty.
God damn it, when will the fucking Dems ever learn?

Next time trump is arrested, treat him like a common criminal: Handcuffs, cavity search, orange jumpsuit, and put him in with the other criminals in a holding cell.
Can't wait for 2029, when that will happen.
Hopefully, in numerous states.
Maybe even numerous other countries.

"[t]hey're not good at it."
Oh, whoops, I thought he was talking about the people in Congress who pass laws that have virtually consequences for violations. Such as in this case.
I guess hand-wringing is an effective form of enforcement. Put Sen. Collins in charge. That'll pay dividends.
January 30, 2026 at 10:22 PM
Wow, he's threatening to issue more "show cause" orders that will, no doubt, be ignored as have been every other order from that court. With no repercussions and no penalties.
Sort of like a Congressional subpoena: Ignore without fear.
January 29, 2026 at 3:06 AM
Did he also attach an appendix listing all the consequences they suffered for their violations?
Wait, let me guess: Yet another stern warning. And that's it.
January 29, 2026 at 2:57 AM
And what exactly are the remedies available for this failure to comply with the statute?
I've seen no one discuss that aspect. It seems hand-wringing and complaining are the two remedies most are choosing. Perhaps those are the only choices and the statute is toothless.

Maybe they can adopt flat fee rules for different zones within the muni. Other cities have implemented flat fees and the taxis are very competitive with the Lyft/Uber type rides, especially during peak demand periods.
January 27, 2026 at 5:03 PM
And if you're not seeing SCOTUS for what it now is, you're ignoring what will happen when trump declares that the military and ICE will ensure that 2026 will have "fair" elections. The stage is set for an ugly November, aided and abetted by the most unethical, corrupt SCOTUS ever.
January 22, 2026 at 3:37 PM
For god's sake, would you get off this "malignant narcissist" crap? You've been pounding that drum for more than 8 years. We get it. He's mentally ill. We've heard it and heard it and heard it.
No sane person disputes this. Find something that will resonate.
January 20, 2026 at 2:24 AM
Probably ought to change the DeSantis stuff to Byron Donalds. He's the heir apparent for FL governor.
January 17, 2026 at 12:57 PM
Oh, you just realized that?
January 15, 2026 at 4:24 PM
Sounds like a fairly toothless law if there's no one to enforce it and apparently anyone can violate it with impunity.
January 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM
Guess how many of those 196 Magas will later tell their constituents they voted to keep their ACA rates low.
Lying hypocrite fuckers.
January 9, 2026 at 2:20 AM
You've beaten the narcissist thing to a pulp. I really doubt anyone who cares hasn't heard it hundreds of times. Give it a rest and focus on the criminal and civil liabilities. You're bumping your gums to no purpose with this stuff.
January 8, 2026 at 5:39 PM
Thanks for helping him get elected in 2016.
Thanks, also, to your ex.
January 8, 2026 at 5:37 PM
If you're running as a "conservative," sorry, I've had all the "conservative" crap I can stomach for a lifetime.
You were a trump enabler. You will never convince me - and, hopefully, anyone else - that you're worthy of a seat in Congress.
Get lost.
January 6, 2026 at 4:21 PM
You're launching it preparatory to your run for office.
December 22, 2025 at 11:51 PM
He's anti-trump but not anti-conservative. He was a trump enabler in 2016. He's about as palatable as a candidate as Joe Manchin.
December 21, 2025 at 9:25 AM
I still support her, but not when it comes to this nonsense.
December 19, 2025 at 12:51 AM
Dude, other kids are crying because they're not getting two pencils for Xmas. Stop thinking only of yourself.
