We are currently working with a client who has complex mental health issues as a result of family abuse and trauma, which she is struggling to overcome. Her electric oven has not worked for over a year and she doesn't have the means to replace it.

Pleased to have had a reply from Department for Work and Pensions over my concern last week that getting rid of the cliff-edge (i.e. go 1p over the £151wk max earnings limit & carers lose ALL the £82/wk payment) wasn't in the remit of the Independent Review of overpayments.
