I read Jessica Craven's substack, Chop Wood, Carry Water. On Sundays, she posts a list of all the good things that happened while Trump drew attention to himself, often in appalling ways. What we do matters! Keep boycotting, calling, and marching. Continue to be the change we want to see.

Huge data centers — some using as much electricity as a small city — have plugged into the grid in recent years, and they aren’t seeing the same spikes in prices as residential customers. For those who "don't do politics" I hope this convinces you that politics is life.

ICE learned the wrong lesson from the killing of Renee Good. We must not relent in telling our political leaders it is time to rein in ICE. Our presence in the streets is the clearest signal we can send to our elected representatives. DOJ: comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act NOW.

Everyone who participates in protests is a patriot and servant of the Constitution. We must do it until we reclaim democracy as our own. Standing in the streets, raising our voices, serves as inspiration to others. It shows that millions of Americans haven’t given up.

When you stand on a street corner, roadside, or freeway overpass to challenge Trump’s illegal actions, you inspire others. When you protest, you speak for those whose circumstances preclude them from doing so. They hold two jobs, care for children or elderly parents, struggle with health or debt.
