The People's House, or Trump's?
November 30, 2025 at 4:03 PM
So much going on...And on the subject of "piggy" don't forget the "Trickle Down" theory of economics we've been fed for years. A myth. Boycotting works. Shop small, and if you can withhold your $ from Target, Amazon, and Home Depot after Cyber Monday, do it!

How can we be loud at the moment? Boycott Amazon, Target and Home Depot today through Monday. Shop small and local. If you have time, phone bank for Aftyn Behn. The election to fill Tennessee 7 is Tuesday, December 2. She has caught up to the Republican candidate.

Happy Thanksgiving!

For you activists who have a minute, phone bank if you can. Donate otherwise. Aftyn Beyn is tied with Epps at the moment, and that was from a right-leaning poll.

It's a long shot, but even Simon Rosenburg is getting behind this campaign. Calling is easy, and I like that you can leave a voicemail message that is from Aftyn Behn. Here is your action for this holiday season.

Target rolled back their diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.

Home Depot ICE continues to conduct violent raids on their property.
Amazon made donations to Trump and discounted government contracts (including for ICE), all in exchange for massive corporate tax breaks.

Happy Saturday!

A gentle reminder: If you live nearby, show up! Wish I could. I am with all you citizen patriots in spirit. Don't give up the ship!

They end with the famous line delivered by Captain James Lawrence, who commanded USS Chesapeake in 1813 when it engaged in a naval battle with HMS Shannon during the War of 1812. In the battle, Lawrence was mortally wounded. As his men carried him below, he ordered:

“Don’t give up the ship.”

Thanks to Representative Garcia and Senator Wyden, the truth will come out, eventually.

We are the change we have been waiting for.

On this day in 1863 in the midst of our terrible civil war.

Lest we forget.

Wish I lived near DC. If you do, be there!

Justice for the victims. The first step: Release the Epstein files. The next step: prosecute those who participated no matter who they are. The final step: Expose those who were complicit in that they knew what was going on and did/said nothing.

Happy that the Catholic Church is speaking up. Let's hope this continues. I post it here to encourage their actions.
November 15, 2025 at 2:08 PM
I am happy that Adelita Grijalva has finally been sworn in, and this will begin the process of bringing the Epstein files to light. But be warned: It will be a long, slow process. So maybe all we need to know in this moment is that Trump protects pedophiles, perhaps because he is one himself?

Obama established DACA as a path for legal US residence. Thousands gave information, promised they would not be deported. Congress never acted. Now, in Trump's quest to deport 3,000 a day, grown-up DACA recipients could become targets.

Representatives like Adelita will stand up for them.

Wish I lived in NYC. I'd be there. Time for new leadership.

Driving home from LA yesterday morning, traffic slowed to almost a stop in the valley. It was Veteran's Day, so this surprised us until we approached the overpass and saw the signs. We opened our windows, waved and honked, as did most of the other drivers. Thanks to everyone on that bridge.
November 12, 2025 at 3:00 PM
Happy Veteran's Day! Many of us have fathers (and mothers) who served our country. Some made the ultimate sacrifice. That's why we celebrate 11/11, to remember how the war to end all wars, WWI, ended at the 11th hour on this day so many years ago.

Love this so much! Here's to the courageous frog man in Portland, and Sandwich guy in DC!

This is what the oval office looks like? The White House is supposed to be our house....
