Libraries matter now more than ever. They stand for the powerful idea that knowledge is free and belongs to everyone. In a time when books and free thought are under threat, we must defend and support our libraries and librarians—they are guardians of access, learning, and freedom.

We need more people playing, enjoying, exploring, dancing, laughing, and hugging in museums!

Spaces for discovery, creativity and healing, moving away from the traditional and stuffy spaces for collections that are sometimes worth billions. These places need to be MORE than that....
We're thrilled to announce the forthcoming Health and Wellbeing in Museums Fund, a £1.5m programme of grant-making, networking and learning dissemination for health and wellbeing programmes in museums, funded by the Julia Rausing Trust.

Well that's my cue to paint or at least sketch tonight....
Black art is revolutionary because we live in a society that seeks to keep us so busy we can't reflect and produce art.

Am looking for your Bluesky success stories.

Has your charity:

- grown lots of followers fast?
- connected with new peers or communities or decision markers?
- had a viral success?
- had greater engagement than the other place?

Or is the jury still out?

Keen to hear how it is going so far.

Social media can be a force for good - think tutorials, fundraising, lectures etc. Some young entrepreneurs/influencers also make money on the platforms from a young age.

And as John has said, it's not the platforms but some of the content that harms. So keeping kids offline can only help so much.
There's a new movement in the UK to ban children under 16 from social media. 📱

Maybe we should focus on how to actually protect and empower young people online?

But what do I know? 🤦‍♂️
