Taking away resources from kids who have every right to a free and appropriate public education is just a horrible waste of kids learning time and their opportunity to grow.
This abandonment means dire consequences for Special Education. Federal protections for students with disabilities? Gone. Coordinated services? Scattered across agencies w/no education expertise. I'm not trying to draw a conclusion one way or another about the shooter's motive because it is unclear! If the president + VP have info they should share it but right now they should focus on white men committing acts of violence not making up narratives for their own political gain.
