I’m asking everyone to vote for a new Mayor by Tuesday and rank all 3 of Omar Fateh, Dewayne Davis, and Jazz Hampton in whichever order you prefer. I’ve worked at City Hall for the last 4 years and from my personal experiences I believe the City desperately needs a new mayor.

At a time when our immigrant neighbors are under attack from Trump, Mayor Frey couldn’t be bothered to show up and answer their questions at a mayoral forum hosted by immigrant rights organizations.

We deserve a mayor who is available and accountable to our communities, not just wealthy donors.

I came across organized busking on Nicollet today. Is streetshowmpls.org a good initiative, or is it not so great for street performers? It would be nice to see an actual good idea for downtown and the community.
