From my Lakota language group. Yes, the Lakota people still talk about these and other events from the 19th century (and earlier). Interestingly, "General Custer" was referred to as "Pȟehíŋ Háŋska" (literally: "Longhair") at the time.

This is the last drawing I posted on my now-defunct Patreon site. One contains lyrics to a song from 1964 that contains a gay subtext (or so I thought at the time), or rather, the lyrics of which were written by a team of two gay songwriters. :) :D

Honest to God, if bluesky could scale up now and loosen the sign up restrictions, Twitter could implode. Thousands of the most active accounts I know on Twitter are begging for Bluesky codes.
