What I really want to know is: who is behind the anti-blueberry campaign targeting seniors on social media? The strawberry lobby? The banana lobby? #blueberries

The America First guy has brought in 566 foreign workers during his 5 years in office to work at his companies instead of hiring Americans. And counting.

How can we distinguish between fundraising appeals that criticize the 8 Democratic Senators that caved that are (a) sponsored by legitimate Democratic groups, or (b) sponsored by Republicons or foreign intersts taking advantage of our disappointment?

I live outsole of Chicago and went into the city today carrying my driver's license, passport, and a copy of my birth certificate. When I stepped outside a friend's home, she reminded me not to go out without my papers. Unbelievable. --

Here’s a website that can help you find a local food bank and/or pantry.

Again, if you can‘t donate money or food, consider donating your time. Allowing people to go hungry is not what we do.
Find Your Local Food Bank and Holiday Food Boxes | Feeding America
Find the Feeding America member food bank nearest you. Over 200 member food banks can connect you with free food, food pantries, soup kitchens, and holiday food boxes in your community.

Now reading Keene's engrossing history EMPEROR OF JAPAN about Meiji. While I'm only 12% through, one thing is puzzling: how the emperor's lifestyle and extensive court infrastructure were supported financially is a mystery. Where did the money come from? #japan #meiji #skystorian

NEW: The US Army website for its bases in Bavaria, Germany told its soldiers and employees that it might need to obtain free food from the German government during the US government shutdown.

The Army later altered publication to remove a list of food banks, but we have the original text here:
US Army Tells Soldiers to Go to German Food Bank, Then Deletes It
The initial 'Shutdown Guidance' for the US Army Garrison Bavaria included instructions to go to German food banks.

It didn't matter.

Let his victory in the face of Big Money serve as a reminder that people have the power.
