After a sweeping, Republican-led review of more than 2 million voter registrations, Utah election officials identified just one apparent noncitizen in their voter rolls — who never voted. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
Utah reviewed its voter rolls for noncitizens. It found one. Who never voted
The results sharply undercut the narrative of widespread noncitizen voting Republicans are using to promote new nationwide restrictions on voting.

FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.

Unpopular opinions for which no one asked:

Smash burgers are gross! I hate the crispy texture, especially on the edges. They’re too thin and seem a way to cheap out on the meat.

If I want a burger, it needs to be thick and juicy, no pink.

Also, enough with the bacon! It’s overpowering.

They always lie about being rammed with a vehicle. They’re the ones that ram vehicles, and even brake check cars to cause crashes that will justify use of force.
SEEING IS BELIEVING

DHS claims the car being chased rammed the ICE vehicle. The video shows the opposite.

📌 A father and son, a US citizen, are chased. The teen is beaten and seriously injured. The father is deported.

DHS lied. The video tells the truth. Excellent reporting by Antonia Hylton.

Did not cook supper. Youngest ate mac n cheese. Oldest is SICK, so made her can of chicken noodle.

Asked if she wants me to get more tomorrow. “I like the soup YOU make … and bread.”

My youngest is in it for the bread.

Good thing I got a fresh bunch of celery, carrots, and onion today.

I can’t warm up my feet and hands. Raynaud’s in this weather really sucks.

I need to go get gas, but I don’t love the idea of filling up while freezing. There’s no school and I have no place to be tomorrow due to severe windchill, but I’m down to under a 1/4 tank.

Sigh.

1/The law requires a judicial warrant based on probable cause signed by a judge to enter a home or private area in a biz (not an administrative one signed by an “immigration authority” ie a DHS employee). This is clearly unlawful conduct. ICE can’t change the law just because it doesn’t like it.

At every burial for my Dakota relatives wambdi have always come soaring above.

When grieving my unci, a wambdi watched me while I was on a hike. When I turned back, it had dropped feathers in my path.

My 21 yo has been stressed. Last week, on her way home a wambdi swooped in front of her car. 🦅🫶🏽
