The LMHS Principal, Jeff Gustason, released the following this morning:

It’s heavy on blaming mothers.

The fact is Tylenol has been studied and found NOT to cause ASD. Somehow, the folks in charge are ignoring scientific evidence that shows there are other things that can increase the likelihood of having a child w/ASD. For instance, the sperm quality of aging fathers.
September 25, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Sometimes, kids get autism.

Blaming women for taking acetaminophen during pregnancy is lazy, and not shown to cause autism.

You know what is a scientifically proven factor? Old dads and their aging sperm.

Perhaps the makers of Tylenol will file a suit for damages to their brand over these claims.

“He was a great man of morals, ethics and character and will be eternally missed,” Greene’s agent Michael Greene said in a statement to Deadline.”

“Greene was born on June 22, 1952 in Ohsweken, on the Six Nations Reserve.”

What he means by ‘mitochondrial challenges’ includes autism, diabetes, being small stature, etc.

Everyone should be alarmed by his comments and his intentions.

Big Salad Supper made from my container garden veggies: tomatoes, cucumber, red bell pepper, broccoli, lettuce, and spinach. Delightful!

MAGA often turn a blind eye to pedos in their church and family. Some protest loudly, but are actually predators just like him.

Soupy hot outside, so my garden is struggling a bit. My hibiscus had double blooms today. I’ll take that win after my fight with aphids (high power water sprays and cutting it and the companion coleus way back)!
July 28, 2025 at 11:19 PM
And just like that, my hibiscus baby got aphids.

Blasted these ones off with the hose and treated with neem oil. Doing better today. Just blasted with water again, but decided to cut her and the coleus way back before adding more neem oil.

First time gardener successes (containers on deck): Tomatoes have finally begun to blush and ripen. Cucumbers are hanging in there despite earwigs and cucumber beetles. Made refrigerator sweet pickles for the first time ever. Got a small daily harvest of strawberries this week.

As much as I abhor him, the legs in this image show a medical condition called lipedema, which primarily impacts women and often runs in families.

The fat cells cause painful nodules, easy bruising, and do not respond to weight loss efforts like diet and exercise. It’s disfiguring and debilitating.

My homeland’s heritage … They made treaties to stop conflict with my ancestors who fought fiercely to protect their lands and people. They just didn’t expect settlers to be greedy liars who used their religion to murder, rape, and steal.

As a descendant of Mdewakantowan Dakota who were exiled from Minnesota in 1863, as well as Sissetowan Dakota and Ihanktowan Nakota, we are STILL HERE! I thank my ancestors who survived beatings, starvation, the concentration camp at Fort Snelling, boarding schools like Carlisle and Hampton, etc.

Mine bloomed this morning.

My hibiscus bloomed this morning, and she’s so lovely!

After COVID infections in September 2024, and May 2025, my sister, who is in her 40s, has developed Giant Cell Arteritis, a disease more common in 70-80 year olds.

She has to take high levels of steroids, had a MRI to rule out brain tumor, and is in need of a temporal artery biopsy, then more meds.

I’m going to leave a photo of my vincas and marigolds here, because they bring me joy.

Vincas are heat tolerant and marigolds are a garden pest deterrent.

Poor zucchini plants! Your cucumbers look wonderful.

Something is chewing on my cucumber leaves. The plant that was bearing cukes is no longer doing so, and all the flowers just shrivel. Not sure what to do aside from neem oil and pull all of the damaged leaves off. Sigh.

They have no conscience, and are trying to make nice w/you, Mark.

This isn’t something one can hold their nose and vote for, because there is something good in it for everyone.

People are going to die. Kids will go hungry. Healthcare facilities will close and those jobs lost.

Name those senators!
July 1, 2025 at 10:08 PM
I wrote my senators, Grassley and Ernst.

I will reach out to my congresswoman, Hinson, but it will fall on deaf ears. She is for the bill’s border security and tax cuts, and is pedaling the lie that cuts to medicaid will only impact ‘illegal immigrants.’

Not very pro-life, not very Christian.
July 1, 2025 at 10:01 PM
The aging MAGA voting population in Iowa, and their families are about to learn what Medicaid cuts means for their LTC.

Remember when the same lot screamed about Obamacare and death panels for granny? DJT is about to deliver worse.

Healthcare facilities and jobs will be lost. All will suffer.
July 1, 2025 at 3:10 AM
I saw this earlier, and my guess is they intend to let these people die. I’m old enough to remember when the GOP politicians had their voters freaked out about death panels for grandma, now they are going to just let nature take its course. Cruel. Not very pro-life or Christian behavior.

Growing this Mandevilla. It’s commonly known for its vibrant, trumpet-shaped flowers, symbolizes love, beauty, and resilience. Its climbing nature also represents adaptability and strength.

Heat index is high the next few days. While watering this evening, I sat, pruned and added support for my tomatoes.

Lots of cucumbers coming too! Today, I sat and harvested lettuce and spinach (winter sown by me), and a few sugar snap peas for salads this hot weekend. #Selfcare #MentalHealth
