Republicans can’t win on their policies, so they are trying to dodge accountability by rewriting the rules. These lawmakers are going out of their way to silence the will of the people and deliberately undermine our democracy.

"Beatríz" works in the grapes in CAs San Joaquin Valley & earns $17 hr. During peak season, she works up to 8hrs/day. However, because of the current heat she often works less as the heat is too much. She shares, "At 10 am sometimes it's already 85°." #WeFeedYou #CALOR

Mayor Bass: This morning, it was frightening in Los Angeles to see tanks essentially rolling into MacArthur Park.
It was an egregious show of force. I have no idea what their purpose was. I don’t even think they detained anyone.
