When I pitched the 'big gay book of libraries' I said I was going to write a positive and uplifting books. But it's hard, folks.

I just find myself writing about discrimination and censorship, again and again.

Wild London has justified the licence fee for the year. Beautifully filmed, Sir David on top form, and such a positive view of London.

I'm a couple of episodes away from having binge-watched all three series of Diplomat. Not very demanding but very enjoyable - and the area around Nine Elms was a regular lock-down walking route so lots of good location spotting.

All of us at RLUK were shocked and saddened to hear the news that Paul Aryis has died. Paul was committed to building up the library community - as well as his work at UCL he generously gave his time and wisdom to a wide range of conferences, workshops, and committees.

One of our guilty pleasures is the musical Six. Saw the touring version - again!- in Oxford again. It is funny and joyous and they seems to be able to find outrageously talented casts

I’ve very much enjoyed reading Collecting Stories: The cultural collections of the University of Liverpool. A handsome volume highlighting items from Liverpool’s collections, chosen by members of the university community
