Trying out Costco's Argentinian red shrimp, which come peeled, cleaned, and frozen. They cook up fast (which is great on these hot days) and taste delicious! 🍽️ 🍜 🦐. #foodsky #cooksky

Grilled ribeye with roasted potatoes and veggies. I made a sauce out of horseradish, sour cream, yogurt, and herbs, and it went so well with the beef and veggies that you can no longer see the pretty grill marks. 😅 🍽️ 🍜 🥩 🥦 🥔

I had to close my eyes with each bite, it was so damn good! 😋

I had some perfect peaches and a beautiful 't-bone' style pork chop to use on this cool summer day, so combined them both for dinner along with an onion/jalapeño pan sauce, and roasted potatoes/veggies.

I was surprised to find that my avocado was ripe, so I had about 20 minutes to eat it before I missed its magic window. I tossed it in a spinach/mushroom omelet with cherry tomatoes and roasted baby potatoes. 🍳🍽️🍜🥑

I was feeling neglectful of the sour cream and horseradish sitting idly in the fridge, so I prepared a ribeye on the grill along with mushrooms, baked potato and roasted veggies. The condiments were happy, and so was I. 🥩🍽️🍜

I found some lion's mane and oyster mushrooms at the farmers market and cooked them pressed between two cast iron skillets out on the grill. The taste and consistency was essentially indistinguishable from a good pork chop! Worked well with mashed potatoes and veggies!

The cherries in my yard are ripe early, so I incorporated some into a cherry-onion jam to top a thick pork chop on mashed potatoes. It worked quite well! (Onion, garlic, cherries, bourbon, white wine, butter and seasonings.). 🥩🍜🍽️ #DoctorsWhoCook

Too warm to cook today (but not, I suppose, for baking bread!). The dressing was cream, sour cream, some dijon, garlic, and lots of herbs from the garden.

Thick cut pork chop dry-brined and slow-fried with a pan sauce made up of onion, garlic, bell pepper, and fresh oregano, then deglazed with a splash of Japanese whisky and finished with cream. The oven roasted veggies were left-overs from yesterday, but tasted great! 🍽️🍜 🐷

My daughter gave me some of this sauce from Japan which I love! The problem is that they're now back in the U.S., so I've been trying to copy it (unsuccessfully). Today I learned that my A.I. translation of ingredients was wrong, so I tweaked the recipe and finally cracked it! 🍜🍽️ #DoctorsWhoCook

This old lady turns 10 today. To celebrate, we did her favorite thing: drive to beach so she can fetch her ball from the waves. I now have a very tired 'pup' on my hands! #dogsofbluesky 🐾🎂

Not bad for yesterday's leftovers! New here is some crispy tofu drizzled with a little butter infused with Indian spices. I also tried a tahini/garlic/ginger sauce on the veggies. So good! I'm not sure I'll ever want my veggies without this anymore! 😋🍜🍽️
