So a huge salary, expensive offices, hundreds if not thousands of staff, millions and millions of dollars so that people who call Trump out for what he is can’t go to America.
Proof that there is more than one way to prostitute yourself.

Too bad.

August! August was the month where 2025... started to fall apart, if I'm being perfectly honest, but still. Started strong with the Greatest Gathering, then a few spots across the north of England. (8a/12)

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

The war can end quickly - all that Putin has to do is withdraw to the original borders of Ukraine, return kidnapped children and pay for the rebuilding that his illegal war caused.
Putin, again dressed in military uniform, said he plans to continue the war because “the heads of the Ukraine regime are not in a hurry to solve this conflict with peaceful means."

Serious question - what on earth is the point of the billions we spend on the military and defence if we ultimately just to resort to forcing school kids onto the front lines with AK47s?

Trump and most other far right players have a huge capacity for telling lies - sometimes out of sheer lack of intelligence but mostly because it keeps us fighting each other instead of them.
Uhmmmm... pedo-prez calling the Epstein files a Democrat hoax is similar to calling climate change a hoax... Both are just lies!

How and when did it become unacceptable to be anti- Zionist?

My Uncle was a synagogue attending, Tory voting, High Court judge who was (two decades ago) anti-Zionist. He'd be amazed to read this passage (and others) in Sigrid Rausing's piece in The Times (web.archive.org/web/20251227...).

Labour living in a fool’s paradise if it thinks it has plenty of time to turn Britain around.

Fascism awaits. Tariff wars, UK is outside the biggest trading block (EU). Poverty/Inequality rising.

Finance industry deregulated, mega crash incubating.

Must abandon neoliberalism. Need redistribution.

Mass Privatisation.

So instead of your wages being decided by what your Government could afford and what you earned, you are paid as little as possible to maximise profit.
