One of my Inquisitors' Guild mysteries, The Woeling Lass, is free as an ebook until Tuesday the 13th. An assassin leaves an inspector near death and his family decimated. As he is whisked to safety, an apprentice starts to pull together the clues. Plus, there may or not be a vengeful ghost.

Book review of Kenai by David Hoag: ***** Dave Dobson folded a lot more into this excellent book than just a unique plot. I couldn’t put this book down. The story of Jess Amiko is captivating and compelling. That it spans an immense time period, explores new worlds, unique ecologies, and a very different take on time and destiny, is part of what makes this story so compelling. There are so many reasons to give this book the highest rating possible, but it’s probably best to let you discover them for yourself. Do yourself a big favor, and read this book! You won’t be sorry.

"Kenai" was one of the sci-fi books that @michaelshotter.com read and enjoyed this year but Dave Dobson has many others worth investigating as well, in various genres. He's also a returning SPSFC judge. Needless to say, he's a busy fellow. 🪐📚💙

I got a new cover made for #SPFBOX semifinalist The Glorious and Epic Tale of Lady Isovar. The artist is Laurent Reis. I couldn't be happier - I think it better expresses the silliness of the story.

The book is a humorous fantasy with an over-the-top lady knight and her long-suffering squire.
