The statement from NOAA also seems false and disrespectful to our intelligence. “Staff reallocation” implies hundreds of people aren’t being fired but rather moved around. Reality is they’re being fired or “strongly encouraged” to retire.

My heart broke for the lost boys as I was of a similar age. Then more genocidal ethnic cleansing. Finally a country forms and is shortly thereafter ripped apart in civil war. To revoke visas is inhumane even for this admin. Marco Rubio will be known as human garbage for as long as he is remembered.

I don’t think people have fully grasped that you can get measles from walking through the same room as someone who has it hours later. Most contagious disease we know.
