Sometimes I wish I was a man. I can just take off and leave all the responsibilities to the women at home who travel 60 kms everyday for work and come home late at night and have to figure out the household situation.

Took me only 2 years of freelancing in F&B/FMCG to make it to the founding team of a pre-seed funded retail/FMCG startup. This level of up-skilling only happens in freelancing is what I believe in. Our corporate jobs are keeping us down and tied to stupid KPIs that take us nowhere, years to promote.

Discipline in the kitchen rarely comes easily for Indian male chefs. Fucking tired of supervising the basics, how are you a chef and letting the meat strain unprotected for over 3 hrs?!

Today is perhaps the lowest day I’ve had in 2 months. I don’t know if I should go back to a full time gig or continue consulting while I juggle being a chef. The idea of a paycheck hitting my account every month feels so much safer but I will never be happy.
