Colombia capitulated and had their funding frozen. Harvard resisted and got their funding frozen. If the punishment for resisting is the same as the "reward" for bowing down, that makes the choice pretty simple. Columbia did irreversible damage to their reputation, and the reward was no funding.

Unrelated but I've never done jury duty and I live in Manhattan haha isnt that silly? Haha It would be so cool if I could serve on a criminal jury soon haha if only some COOL prosecutor picked me hahaha
