A pelagic shark known to congregate in coral reefs, these reef sharks only come out at night to hunt for fish and lure them into tight crevices in shivers.

An ocean life artwork of the Whitetip Reef Shark. Normally social as they spend their time in the sandy seafloor, these sharks are distinguished by their whitetips on their pectoral, dorsal and tail fins, hence the whitetip for their name. While it may be afternoon in the coral reef, the reef will soon be a predator zone for the sharks to use for their hunting advantage.
