Got a great deal on a used copy of Boonlake at @millenniumgames.bsky.social the other day. Made a few tactical errors, but still had a blast against the automa. I wonder how different it feels at other player counts. Hope I can get it back to the table soon.

Finally got a copy of Arboria and got it to the table recently for a solo play. Lovely game. Feels very satisfying when a big combo comes together. Can't wait to play it with more people and see how a crowded board pushes those tracks around. And can't wait to play more from Dani Garcia.

After losing my first game due to some, let's say, aggressive fishing practices, I won my second attempt at Conserves from @scottalmes.bsky.social. After regretting not backing the Kickstarter, I'm glad I was able to grab a copy at my FLGS.

I don't think there are many things in video games as satisfying as repelling a blue shell with a super horn in Mario Kart.

I think sometimes about how, in Star Wars, despite having the technology to have robots speak human languages, they instead programmed a lot of robots to speak a language of beeps and boops, presumably invented for this purpose, and then people learned that language in order to use the robots.
