I can’t take the credit for the observation and I’ve forgotten who said it, but if you consider that the audience for this government’s policies and communications consists entirely of politics columnists a lot of things suddenly make sense.

Back when I was stupid enough to be on dating apps, I went on a date with someone after getting along well with them on chat. She turned out to be a massive a TERF, and was genuinely shocked that this was a dealbreaker for me.
