Just walked past the Warriors team store, where Jonathan Kuminga jerseys have been off the shelves for months.

From @janekennyy, who caught up with some Kuminga Truthers sfstandard.com/2026/01/12/j...
We found the fans still wearing Jonathan Kuminga jerseys at Chase Center
A breakup between Golden State and the 23-year-old wing seems inevitable. For some devoted supporters, the reality is hard to accept.

Jonathan Kuminga is out of the mix and on practically the most tradeable contract possible. There are multiple teams with interest in him, per source. Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler are still elite.

There’s no excuse to not make a trade in the next 4 weeks. sfstandard.com/2026/01/11/j...
With Jonathan Kuminga, the Warriors can’t wait around for the perfect trade
If Golden State waits until the offseason to move the 23-year-old wing, the front office risks turning a fading dynasty into a dead one.

The Warriors take the most 3s in the NBA but rank 14th in 3pt%. What's more: 44.7% of all their field goals are "open" or "wide open" 3s (closest defender 4ft away).

They're creating, and clanking, clean looks. In a make-or-miss-league, Ws might be due for more makes.

What if the Warriors actually start to make shots?
Golden State’s role players missed open looks against the Clippers and converted against the Bucks. It swung the outcome of each game.

The Warriors have been the seventh worst clutch team in the NBA despite employing Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler.

The difference between being a play-in team or contender is executing late. Just ask the Lakers (13-0 clutch record).

Draymond Green needs the Warriors, and the Warriors need Draymond Green. Always have. Last night’s dust-up with Steve Kerr sure doesn’t change that.
