Tis the season for salata de boeuf. I am attempting to make it per my MIL’s method since she can’t. The problem is there are no exact quantities or amounts 😅 and apparently the best way to make it is to make chicken soup first, so here we go. I’m also realizing I forgot noodles for the soup AGAIN.🤦♀️

I have been trying to stay in the routine I had when Cora was around regarding walks, but it’s hard. Taking our routes feels like betrayal, and I’d really like for my brain to comprehend that it’s not betrayal, it’s a way to honour her. But brains be dumb.

I’ve realized I can go back 30 days on the cameras and I’ve watched a couple of days with Cora before everything went to shit. Now I am sad. 😔

Today I had to bid farewell to my sweet girl, Cora. She gave us 12 amazing years and we had so much more to do, but cancer took her from us too soon. (For us). I miss her so much already. It’s too quiet without her. 😢

Cora very likely has hemangiosarcoma. Her abdomen is full of blood and there’s a 6cm mass on her spleen. I’ve been crying since we got to the car and got home. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
