All the while I put some potatoes in the boil. Once the soup was done I pulled out about 1/2 cup of chicken meat and slap chopped that up. And now while the potatoes cook I’m going to sit in the tub to relieve this back issue. Hopefully.

Which caused my back to seize up cause apparently I can’t stand for prolonged periods without that happening. Then remembered I have a slap chop and used that sucker to get the pickles completed. And then remembered-chopped the carrots.

Found noodles that’s good. Anyway. Skin the foam off as the soup is going. I went for about an hour before I removed some carrots for the salata. Also removed the chicken thighs so debone them and tossed the meat back in with some bouillon and vegeta. While that simmered I cut the carrots

What is salata de boeuf? While it exists in some form in many cultures, my Romanian hubs would enjoy it frequently during holidays or other events. While it can include beef, I think for the most part where he’s from it’s always chicken. Along with carrots, potatoes, pickles, mayo, and mustard.

This is the annual struggle for me. Nephew #1 got Lego, #2 I have to find something for (he will be 11 in December, so same boat), Nephew #3 Lego, Nephew #4 Lego, Nephew #5 a Labubu. Their lists were all over the place and Lego was the most accessible so, we mostly went in that direction.

I was wondering if he had some major allergies. Feel bad for the dude if he does!
