Listening to the wall to wall coverage of the soccer result last night, I think the people happiest with the win must be Fianna Fáil as its distracting from… well everything

Humphreys finally finds a point of principle to talk about and… it’s murdering animals for entertainment
🗣️ “If a fox is being ripped limb from limb and is dying a slow and agonising death - how can you say you abhor animal cruelty?”

🗣️ “These are rural pursuits and have been for many, many years.”

Heather Humphreys discusses her support for fox hunting and hare coursing.

Fantastic initiative by H&CC. 👏👏

The tricolour was not a well-known flag in 1916. It represents a republic of different identities, traditions, languages and religions.

The promise of a republic "oblivious of the differences carefully fostered ..., which have divided a minority from the majority".

CMAT is a national hero
Is Bertie Ahern referencing CMAT?

In the recording, he complains criticisms and “falsehoods” against him “intensified, pushed by a handful and reached a new generation. That’s not good.”

Fun fact: Sean Kelly got more FPVs in the recent European Elections just in the South constituency than Gay Mitchell got nationwide in the 2011 Presidential Election.

Ireland’s forest situation is incredibly bleak
This map categorizes European forests according to their use. Unmanaged forests are super rare. Finland and Sweden are timber plantations. France has created Landes de Gascogne, a match box forest on the Atlantic coast. Britain got rid of their forests . Source: buff.ly/cQBsb9x buff.ly/EbK7dvz
