I held off on getting the last few parts for my new PC build, thinking they'd get cheaper in November. What a fool. The RAM alone is over $200 now.

People glaze Valve way too much. The only appealing thing announced was the Steam Frame, and that is really based on its price compared to a Quest. It doesn't even have color passthrough.

After getting a blood test for the neurologist who's trying to fix my hearing, I'm being recommended to see a hematologist to check if I have thrombocytosis. It's always fucking something lately. Can I please, PLEASE, just go back to normal? I'm sick of being sick!

I went to a hospital an hour away at 2:15 for a 3:30 appointment and another one at 4:45. After waiting for hours, I finally met with a neurologist who really knew what he was talking about. He had all kinds of ideas for treatment, but tonight started with injecting steroids directly into my ear.

Hearing seemed to be genuinely improving; more and more sounds were making their way in. Something happened yesterday, don't know what, and I'm back to square one. 🫠

My hearing is slowly starting to come back. Very slowly. That said, I need to keep reminding myself that it might not get much better than it is right now, and I still need to prep myself for a life without proper hearing.

The amount of people posting on Reddit right now that don't realize Reddit isn't working is astonishing. Just tons of posts with broken images asking questions that won't get answered.

Took apart my frankenstein PC and put it back together inside my old NZXT H1 case today. I had to take the case apart a bit to replace the stock AIO watercooling with a regular heatsink and fan. Running great now, at least until I finish my main PC build.
